Hey o/

Postby Blastradius » Sat Apr 02, 2016 9:36 pm

Hi, I was debating if I wanted to say hello or just lurk about reading, but obviously opted to do the former. :)
Several friends of mine recently started a PonyFinder game, and I'm really enjoying it. I wanted to look up more stuff about it and found this place. I have been watching pony for almost two years now, but PF is my first time playing a tabletop RPG. I really enjoy the art style of PonyFinder as well, it's way beyond me for now though.
Anyway, this is way longer of an intro than i had intended considering I wasn't even going to write one. :P

Welcome to the herd! Glad you're already into the swing of things. Online game or in person?

Curious. I assume that works well? I usually use roll20.net.

First I should say, I have never used roll20.net.

Yeah, it works out really well, its got tons of user created mods and built in tools. One thing that I thought was cool was how fast you can make custom items. Our gm had each of draw our characters before the game since we all met through mlpds, and made custom tokens in just a few seconds. The tokens and table can both be covered with images super easy so drawing up maps is easy, and if the players do something the gm didn't anticipate, which we love to do :P he can draw right on the table to add more stuff. If you have any specific questions about it feel free to ask. :)

Edit: I just looked at the features and stuff for roll20 and they have quite a few things in common.

Sounds very similar to roll20. It matters not what tool's being used so long as adventure and good times are had!

Totally agree with you there, fun is the goal :D and fun is what we are having!
Also I started reading your crossover fic last night and I am still reading it... I guess I will seep tomorrow. :P
It's really good, I really need to work on getting my ponies closer to horseishy style.
