Once I get from school, I'll whip up a post then. Right now, I need to get an essay finished by either midnight today or midnight tomorrow, but I need to find out which is true for me. That is kind of why I have been a bit less vibrant recently. I hope I can make the post today...

Question, did my 26+25 crit connect? And if so, is it still awake after taking 15 points of damage?

Yes, you hit, and no. Absolutely not. Actually I think it's dying now from those hits plus the fall damage from earlier. *goes to double check*

Umm, you need to take a minimum of 50 damage before making massive hit fortitude checks.

Wasn't it? I only have 8 hp and your first hit was for 7, and the second hit was for 8. Or does that only count for lethal damage? Or did I read the rules wrong?

Nope. First, the only attack I actually made was a claw that was a critical hit, and you are right, since it took falling damage, all of the damage from my claw over 8 points became lethal, so you took 7 hit points of lethal damage. However, massive damage checks aren't made unless a minimum of 50 damage has been inflicted within the single attack. Since I only dealt 15, you don't have to make a check. It is dying though....I was a bit too rough.

Oh! I miss read it than. Thanks for clearing that up for me. :) I thought it meant %50 of the total hit points.

EDIT: Should be fine, as long as it doesn't actually die. :)
