It's called a heal check, and unless the bard has a cure spell, then that's all we got.

Yes you can, and it's a good idea in case the bard can't help. Your turn is after their's

Don't look at the sorceress for help. She's got no spells that would help. And her skills are in Fly, Spellcraft, Knowledge (Nature) and Knowledge (Arcana).

Sorry about this, but I don't have time to restructure the entire character sheet yet. However, I can tell you what my spells are:
Lv. 0: Spark, Sift, Mending, and Lullaby
Lv. 1: Chord of Shards, and Cure Light Wounds
For my turn, I am thinking of rolling to heal the beast so it doesn't die. Is that fine with everyone?

Yes please! I'd rather not have my new character die before I even have a chance to properly play her.

Okay! I'll roll my 1d8+1 for how much it heals (the +1 is for the caster level.)

It has now cured a grand total of ten HP, math time! It's at -4, and would go to +2 with that cure. Since she has 8 non-lethal damage, she cures six points of that as well, leaving her with an effective HP of 0. She's awake, but staggered and unable to take anything more than a move action without up and dying again.

I can see how you got the +2 easily, but how did you get ten and 0?
