[Ponyfinder] Looking for Players
Posted: Fri Oct 20, 2017 10:31 am
Hello everybody,
There are two slots open in a ponyfinder (PF, not 5e) game that I'm currently running.
Two players had to drop out due to personal reasons.
Since the group has pretty much finished the arc now, I'm looking for some new players that want to join.
The game is on every second wednesday at 18:00 UTC (time is jumping around with summer and winter time, GM country is Germany).
There will be themes and jokes that some may consider 'adult', so if you're sensitive about those, I would recommend against joining, since that is certain to impact your enjoyment of this.
The next game will be on the 1st of November 2017 and will deal with the final cleanup of the arc, as well as a session zero (setup and discussions about what we do next and where player want to be or go). I can't promise that we will reach the start of session zero. I don't enforce timing unless the players get into indecision stasis.
What you should know about the game:
It will be a total of 6 players. We are using voice chat on discord. I won't accept alternatives, since that is what has been working for everybody so far (You'll need the client, since the web-interface is wonky with audio streams). Also, I'm new to GMing, so I may take longer than an experienced GM for certain things.
The game itself is a story driven exploration type game. The tone is generally positive. The players have a lot of freedom where they wish to go, but it has turned out, that my group prefers an overarching plot instead of single session mini quests, so that is what we'll probably be going with. The world was set up in a way that provides ample opportunity to explore, though, and I will continue to use the elements that have proven interesting to the players. So, if you're looking for a more traditional adventuring campaign, this might be the game for you.
As for characters, I will accept most of the ponyfinder races - depending on setting, etc. - and almost all non-ocuclt classes - there's probably some weird stuff out there, that I don't know of - including custom ponyfinder ones. Since this is an ongoing game, you won't be starting at level 1. I do welcome players that are new to to pen and paper or ponyfinder, but I will point out that learning a new system at a higher character level is much more daunting a task.
If there are questions or you wish to join, simply post here. It's generally a first come first serve basis, although I do reserve the right to pick and choose. (There has to be some advantage to being GM, right?)
Greetings,
