We have a good selection of tribes going. Just checking, were you in on the Kickstarter? You should have a rough draft copy.

No I wasn't part of the kickstarter. But cool that there's going to be other tribes of girffons.

(Man I hope my spelling is better this time)

I guess it could also use some GM notes on the whole "flying at level one" thing.(or just a flying rules faq in general)
Some who I have talked to at CSS(the local gaming clubhouse) about the kickstarter, seem turned off by it.
I can't see why but I have yet to play Pathfinder so I dont how gamebreaking it could be.
Still, it makes sense to address it in this book given all the flying a griffon group will do.

Yet that dont matter to me give how easy it is to nerf it.
Just watch/read anything with a flying hero and see what problem they run into or how the villains deal with them.
Heck, I could wright a list.
But the Bestiary could use more flying monster.
Or some tips of ones that could be found in Everglow.

Eh I dont know, this is the hard stuff that makes me not want to DM...
Coming up with adventures on the other hand~

If you're running a griffon and/or pegasi game, prepare for flying. Give your monsters ranged attacks and/or some flying of their own, and let them run for cover where flying is not practical. Don't stand there and gawk at the flying death machines.

I find it odd that pegasi can't fly when wearing medium or heavy armor. I think they should have a flying speed penalty when wearing those types of armor instead of refusing them their ability to fly.

There is feats that will let you use medium and heavy armour, but if you think of the normal basic pony unless they had training they wouldn't be able to fly with that sort of amour. So I would say that makes seance to me

If their class trained to use the armor then it should only apply a penalty to their fly speed, like a pegasus paladin should still be able to fly in heavy armor since its trained in it. A NPC pegasus commoner who wears medium or heavy armor, since the Commoner NPC class aren't proficient with any armor, I see them as loosing their ability to fly.

I have no beef with this debate, except this thread is supposed to be about feedback for the upcoming griffon book that people have the draft version of.
