Ponyfinder Deity Stats

Postby Mystic_Knight » Tue Feb 10, 2015 6:48 pm

I know the book had some basic information on the deities of Everglow. But will there be a book similar to the D&D Deities and Demigods, where they have the stats for the deities?

I wish the answer was yes, but I'd be shocked if it was.

She's a mortal queen right? Not a deity? Deities have levels 21-50 depending on their rank.

This is my knowledge of how deity ranks work
Deities have levels 21-50 depending on their rank which is determined by the number of mortal worshipers that deity has.
Rank 0: Quasi-deities or Hero Deities. Non-immortal beings who are revered, similar to saints
Rank 1-5: Demigod, these have a few hundred to a few thousand followers. Weakest of the deities
Rank 6-10: Lesser Deities, these have a few thousand to tens-of-thousands of followers
Rank 11-15: Intermediate Deities, these have hundreds of thousands of followers
Rank 16-20: Greater Deities, these have millions of followers
Rank 21+: Overdeities, these tend to not meddle in the affairs of mortals and are known, if they are at all, by a handful of individuals, they don't need followers and don't grant domain spells.

It's worth noting that this was the system from D&D 3.0 - it received only a nominal update to 3.5, and Pathfinder has effectively divorced itself from this altogether.

I know, I'm just wondering if there will be similar rules to the deities of Everglow.

That's a symptom of bad players, rather than being an inherent problem with the idea of stats for deities.
