Miniatures-In General

Hello all! So, I'm nto sure how many of you would have been involved, but I got myself into the new (and over) Reaper Bones Kickstarter, and I am quite excited. Although, I've never painted a mini in my life. Has anyone ever done minis before, and have some advice to share? Any and all would be appr...

Re: The End... or, The Beginning?

As the dawn broke, Vermillion rose, grunting a little as he did so. He groomed himself as best he could, then began the meticulous and time-consuming process of putting his armor back on, followed by his saddlebags and his sword. The cloak came last, fitting over the ensemble. He placed the note he...

Re: Ask a Question

It just occurred to me that Everglow does not have an Orc equivalent! Some race that's gruff and warlike. I posit the idea of wild Boars, to be both porcine representatives and parallels to Orcs. (I have no dinero to pay to get this idea into the book, but it just occurred to me that we were missing...

Re: Campaign Two

Salt tilts side to side, trying to get a safe line of sight to shoot Glyph's husk without hitting Comet. Unfortunately, with the two embroiled in hoof to hoof combat, it would just as likely hit the enemy or ally. Instead, in response to Comet's impromptu plant, Salt drops his saddlebags onto the g...

Re: The End... or, The Beginning?

The night is dark and quiet, but not in a comfortable sense. It is dark like death is dark, quiet like the grave. It was as if the world had been killed and buried deep within a dark coffin, deep within the dark earth. Morning came slowly, but it came. The summoning rocks flipped over and over, crea...

If I ever don't reply, feel free to continue on and flavor it as that I'm looking off into the aether or something. Life has just been too busy for ponies (hard to believe, right?) but its getting better. I apologize for my absence, and will attempt to do better.

//I've just been really busy, not to mention a little obsessed with what will likely become a new hobby for me: Minis painting. I've been researching like crazy on top of class and homework... Sorry about that :P // Barasa puts down his cup and lets out a satisfied "Ah!" Followed by the cl...

Re: All the criticals

I played with a character in my party once who rolled quite a few ones. The GM would then roll to see in what direction the weapon went. Once, the character rolled a one, but the GM's roll determined that the weapon flew forward, striking the enemy. In a humorous turn of events, he allowed a half-da...
