Initial thoughts, without having seen it in action. 1. I would be extremely leery to allow Treacherous Madness in my game, as a Dungeon Master. Right off the top, it feels like you've rolled three separate 2nd level spells into a single action - I'm seeing elements of charm person , suggestion , and...

Well, hello there everyone. It has been a rad roach's age since I've poked my head around these parts, hasn't it? But I came to a startling discovery recently, and I would be remiss to hoard that knowledge! Our Lord and Master, the Venerable David Silver...I can't be the only person who double-takes...
You're splitting hairs at that point. There is nothing in the rules that sets a precedent to make a distinction between type and sub-type, in the regard that both impose blanket rules and traits that creatures of that type are expected to follow.
You appear to be missing some of your argument. What do outsiders in general get that ice elementals do not? They have darkvision, if that's what you meant? [Air} creatures "always" have fly speeds, with perfect maneuverability, according to the rules of the tag. The ice elemental cannot ...

In further explanation to your first point, it can be made as a general statement that trip no longer exists as an explicit action because it and bull rush were rolled into one another to create the Shove action. You have your choice of pushing the target back 5 feet or rendering them prone.
To be fair, David, neither are magical beasts. They are similar - not identical. The remorhaz, for example, is most definitely not an "animal." That said, their connection to the natural cycles of their world fits in with the fey type neatly enough. If you, as a DM, really feel bothered by...

Bah, that's obfuscation. The charity didn't "take" anything - the owner of the item gave it to them. Whether they had to go to the item, or the item was given to them, is irrelevant. Ownership was transferred before the item itself changed hands. That's why you can tell someone who has bro...
