At glance that seems right, but there is purrsian/human and purrsian/pony, I think, as two seperate satyr options.

Do not stack them, they are the same thing, and will not do much together. If you want to allow a ruminant to join in the fun, go for it. By RAW, no.

Oops, realized I missed a part there. Ponyfinder _is_ its own setting, and does not require or even assume you've ever watched MLP at any point.

Ponyfinder is an expansion, not a game in itself. It works with Pathfinder, Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition, and Pathfinder Second Edition. I suggest one of the latter two if you're dealing with a young player. DnD 5 is specially easy to get into and simple.

Good question! They are RACE traits, not racial traits. Take them as traits (the sort you get 2 of in character creation), and do not trade away anything for them.
